Berit Sofie Hustad Hembre
Berit Sofie Hustad Hembre MD is a PhD Fellow at the Department of International Public Health at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), University of Oslo and the Global Strategy Lab at the University of Ottawa. She has specialized in Internal Medicine and works as a consultant at the Department of Acute Medicine at Oslo University Hospital. At NIPH, she works on the project entitled Strengthening International Collaboration for Capitalizing on Cost-Effective and Life-Saving Commodities (i4C). She leads the i4C sub-project on global health governance, and how middle-income countries like Brazil, China and India are shaping access to medicines in developing countries. She has been a research fellow at the Centre of International Health at the University of Bergen.
