Dimitrios Gouglas is a trained economist with two master’s degrees in financial economics and health policy, planning and financing, and has ten years of professional experience in pharmaceutical R&D policy and health management consulting in Australia, Greece, Norway, and UK. He is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Oslo, which is part of the i4C research project co-led by the Global Strategy Lab and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. His research focuses on priority-setting in global health R&D, including: assessment of multi-disciplinary approaches to systematic priority-setting in global health R&D; measurement and valuation of outcomes for optimal R&D priority-setting; and modeling optimal outcomes of R&D priority-setting under different constraints. Dimitrios is also a technical advisor for the Norwegian Institute of Public Health on projects funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the GAVI Alliance and the World Health Organization, relating to global health R&D policies, access and financing strategies.
