On July 10, the Global Strategy Lab hosted its first Lunch & Learn session at York University with Former Research Assistant Clarke Cole. Clarke gave a captivating talk about mapping global health actors to our team.
The talk was based on an article Clarke published with GSL Director Steven Hoffman in Globalization & Health this past April, titled “Defining the global health system and systematically mapping its network of actors.” The authors use a systematic methodology and related search functions in order to identify global health actors around the world. Identified global health actors were characterized and the structure of their social network revealed interesting patterns in relationships among actors.
