Agatha is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. She previously completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences at Queen’s University. Agatha’s interest in global health was sparked when she worked with local medical professionals in Cusco, Peru to deliver health education. During her studies, Agatha collaborated with students to organize Queen’s University’s first conference on global health, examining transnational health threats and social determinants of health. Currently at the Global Strategy Lab, Agatha is working on a project examining federal and provincial public health legislation and institutional design at the Public Health Agency of Canada.
