Anna is currently completing a joint degree to obtain her J.D. in international law at the University of Ottawa, and M.A. in International Affairs, with a concentration in Conflict Studies, from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. She obtained her B.A. in International Development Studies at McGill University with a focus on gender equality. Anna's interest in global health began when she conducted field studies in east Africa, where she looked at the connections between freshwater access and public health policy. Most recently, she interned at the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in northern India summer 2015, and the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in New York City where she organized a study on internal displacement and migration.
