Ben was a research assistant at the Global Strategy Lab and holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University, specializing in biomedical sciences. Apart from his interest in biomedical research developed through his work at the McMaster Immunology Research Centre, Ben also became involved with various global health student-run organizations during his first year. Wanting to combine his interests in undergraduate research with global health, Ben took on a research assistantship at the Global Strategy Lab. He is currently working on a project to evaluate the impact and cost-effectiveness of the World Health Organization's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. After a long day of work and studying, Ben enjoys practicing table tennis, jogging, hanging out, and watching Suits and Grey's Anatomy. Ben is currently an MD candidate at the University of Toronto.
