Gaëlle Groux was a Post-Bachelor Fellow at the Global Strategy Lab, after which she became a JD candidate, University of Ottawa. She has completed a Double Major in Basic Medical Sciences and Political Science at Western University in London, Ontario. At Western University, she did research on the role of specific gene regulation of inflammation in B cells, as well as studying the blood vessel wall in hypertension. During her undergraduate years, she has become involved in Universities Allied for Essential Medicines, an organization that works to improve access to affordable and essential medications in low and middle-income countries, and was briefly a sexual health educator in Rwanda. She has a wide variety of research interests in the field of global health.
