Master of Science in Epidemiology Candidate at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
Kelsey Vercammen is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is concentrating in Nutritional Epidemiology and her research interests include supplemental nutrition programs in the United States, the dietary intake of immigrant populations and the nutritional health status of children and youth. In addition to her work with the Global Strategy Lab, Kelsey works as a research assistant with Harvard's Health Policy and Management department and has had the opportunity to work on a number of reviews including an evaluation of menu labeling in the United States, the health effects of sugar sweetened beverages and prevention strategies for reducing obesity among children. Kelsey has been involved with the Global Strategy Lab since 2015 and has contributed to several projects including an evaluation of the WHO's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and a review of celebrities' impact on health outcomes.
