Krista graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Global Health Specialization) from McMaster University. She has advocated for improved Canadian foreign aid spending, planned conferences for young social justice leaders, and worked as an intern with the Evidence Informed Policy Network (EVIPNet) at the World Health Organization. Her work with EVIPNet continues through a consultancy position, where Krista is supporting a study assessing the capacity for evidence-informed policy making in Europe. Krista is always eager to engage in discussions and research around the topics of evidence-informed policy and access to healthcare. As a research assistant with Global Strategy Lab, Krista is currently working on a systematic review regarding the effects of international laws and treaties on health.
