Mahi Hosseini is a third-year Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Ottawa, Common Law Section. She currently works at the School of Epidemiology, Public Health and Preventative Medicine’s Health Equity Committee on investor-state dispute settlement policy analysis. Prior to enrolling in law school, Mahi spent six years working overseas on issues relating to human rights, governance, and development. During her time abroad, she spearheaded several projects with local and international non-governmental organizations to find aid, counseling, and medical care for displaced refugees in war-torn regions. She holds a Master’s Degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University.
