Natasha Gulati is a University of Ottawa JD/MBA candidate and student fellow at the Global Strategy Lab with a passion for science and health. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science, carrying out her thesis in medicinal chemistry. Her MBA work concentrated on strategy and management consulting while her legal studies focus on intellectual property, including patent, trademark, and copyright law. Before beginning law school, Natasha worked at Canada’s leading health data agency responsible for generating data-driven reports to inform day-to-day decision-making in Canada’s healthcare system. During her time at the Telfer School of Management, she participated in the Grand Business Challenge in Digital. This three-day case competition took place at Boston University and explored the opportunities for the integration of big data and information technology in healthcare.
